心理的に健康な大人は、何事も興味から入って、満足して、それらを卒業してきた人々です。人は、自分がしたいことをした時に、他人のわがままを許します。しかし、それをがまんさせられた人は、他人のわがままを許しません。心理的に健康な大人は、生きるのが楽しいし、他人にはやさしいのです。五歳児の大人は、この逆です。「生きるのがつらい」ということと同時に「他人に厳しい」ということです。
