結果として、人間というのは（というか僕は）無意識に、自分が傷つかなくてすむように目の前の現実をねじ曲げて、自分が見たいようにしか物を見ないのだ、という事に気づきました。自分の無意識は、宿主である自分自身が傷つかずにすむように、常に自分自身を騙しています。
　例えば何時間もかけて描いた石膏デッサンの形が狂っていた場合、その事実を直視してしまうと自分が傷つくので、無意識はそれを回避するために『本当は形は狂っていないよ』という嘘をつくりだして自分を騙します。他人の絵の間違いには簡単に気づくのに、自分の絵のおかしい部分にはなかなか気づく事ができないのはそのためです。
